Dr. Andrews’ approach is to treat his patients the same way he would treat his own family. He aims to provide services that are both clinically excellent and highly personal.
Dr. Andrews attended dental school at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated summa cum laude. He completed his orthodontic residency at Louisiana State University’s Health Science Center. He was honored with many prestigious awards throughout his schooling and maintains numerous professional affiliations to allow him to deliver the highest quality of care to his patients.
Family and Community
Dr. Andrews credits his hard-working parents and very supportive wife for encouraging and helping him achieve his dream of becoming an orthodontist. Dr. Andrews and his wife, Melanie, met in college and now have four boys together. Dr. Andrews enjoys mountain biking and wake surfing with his family. He is committed to giving back to the community and has created the Smile Heroes Foundation, which provides free orthodontic care to those in need in our community.
The field of orthodontics is always changing and advancing. Dr. Andrews stays on top of orthodontic developments by regularly participating in continuing education courses to ensure his patients will always have the latest orthodontic treatments available to them to help achieve the best possible outcome.
Everyone deserves a great smile.
This foundation helps ensure they get one.
The Smile Heroes Foundation provides free orthodontic care to those in need within our community. Since 2016, the Foundation has been able to give dozens of free braces to members of our community.
Here’s how it works:
A selection committee, comprised of local leaders, reviews the candidates nominated to receive free braces. Anyone can submit an application for themselves or on behalf of a family member or friend that needs orthodontic treatment. Every year the committee selects 4 people within the community to start orthodontic care.
How to nominate someone:
If you or someone you know in the Brazos Valley area would like to be considered for this orthodontic scholarship, please provide the following in one single email or packet:
1. Provide photos of applicant’s teeth with their name and date of birth.
2. Applicants must write an essay about why they want braces and how having a new smile could positively affect their life.
3. Provide 2 letters of recommendation from a teacher, youth minister, coach, or community member that knows the applicant well.
Applications can be mailed or dropped off to the Andrews Orthodontics office. They can also be submitted by email to [email protected]
